A la carte or all-in
CloudTalk is a cloud phone system for sales and support teams with low entry prices: $25 a seat on Starter, $29 on Essential and $49 on Expert, billed annually. Most of what an outbound team needs is added on top. The power dialer, the parallel dialer, AI conversation intelligence, branded caller ID and phone numbers are all priced separately. For a team that wants exactly the pieces it uses and nothing else, that's a real strength.
GrowOutly works the other way round. The power dialer, parallel dialer, numbers, built-in CRM, registry checks and lead scraping come in every plan. You pay more up front for Base, but there's less to add before the team can work.
Counting the real price
Here's a three-rep team that wants a power dialer and US numbers on CloudTalk. On Essential with the power dialer add-on, that's $44 a seat billed annually, or $132 a month for three reps. Add one number each from $6 a month, then the 11% cost recovery fee on the subscription. The total lands somewhere above $150 a month on a 12-month commitment, with unlimited US and Canada calling and no CRM or lead data. Swap the power dialer for the parallel dialer and the add-on is $39 a seat instead.
GrowOutly Pro is $319 a month for three users, billed monthly. That includes both dialers, two numbers, 680 calling minutes, 500 texts, 1,000 emails and the compliance checks. CloudTalk is cheaper if you only need calling and already own a CRM and a lead source. GrowOutly is simpler, and often cheaper, if you'd otherwise pay for those separately. For heavy dialers, CloudTalk's unlimited calling is an advantage.
Parallel dialing, three lines or ten
CloudTalk's parallel dialer runs 2 to 5 lines per campaign, or up to 10 on request, with quick voicemail detection. On a large, cold list that means a lot of dials per hour.
GrowOutly stops at three lines on purpose. Every extra line raises the odds that two people answer at once and one of them is dropped, and abandoned calls count against you under the FCC's rules. Our guide to power, predictive and parallel pacing explains the trade-off.
Do Not Call screening
This is the clearest difference. CloudTalk's dialer page says that consent and Do Not Call screening are your team's responsibility. Its own blocking tool is a manual blacklist on the Expert plan. CloudTalk does register numbers with Hiya and TrueCaller to reduce spam labels on every plan, and sells branded caller ID as an add-on.
GrowOutly checks national DNC, state DNC and known TCPA litigators before every call and text, on every plan. Consent is still your responsibility on any platform. If you call US consumers, though, registry screening is something you'd otherwise have to buy and wire in yourself.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does CloudTalk cost once you add a dialer?
- On CloudTalk's published prices, an Essential seat is $29 a month billed annually, plus $15 for the power dialer or $39 for the parallel dialer. Numbers cost extra, and US and Canadian customers pay an 11% cost recovery fee on the subscription. Expert includes the power dialer at $49 a seat with a three-seat minimum.
- How many lines does CloudTalk's parallel dialer call at once?
- CloudTalk's parallel dialer page describes 2 to 5 lines per campaign, and up to 10 on request. GrowOutly caps its parallel dialer at three lines, because every extra line raises the chance that two people answer at once and one is dropped.
