The core difference
Kixie and GrowOutly both put a power dialer in front of a sales rep, but they start from opposite ends.
Kixie is a calling and texting layer for the CRM you already run. Its pitch is to turn buyer signals into conversations: a lead fills a form or opens an email, Kixie routes a call or text, and the outcome lands back in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or HighLevel through a two-way sync. If your CRM is your source of truth and your reps live in it, that's a strong design.
GrowOutly is the whole outbound workspace. The built-in CRM, Google Maps lead scraping, DNC and litigator checks, SMS, email sequences and calendar booking sit in the same place as the dialer. It suits teams that don't have a CRM yet, or that are paying for one mainly to hold a call list.
Dialing: three lines or four
Kixie's Multi-Line PowerDialer rings up to four numbers in parallel and uses AI human voice detection to skip voicemail greetings and phone trees. Its Single-Line PowerDialer works like a classic power dialer, and the entry Professional plan has no power dialer at all.
GrowOutly offers a power dialer for one-at-a-time calling and a parallel dialer that rings up to three leads for a rep who is already on the line. The cap is deliberate. When two people answer in the same round, one of them is dropped, and a dropped live answer is what regulators count against you. Every GrowOutly round is screened against DNC lists and a per-number attempt limit before anything rings.
If raw throughput is your main goal and your list is clean, Kixie's fourth line and voice detection are a real advantage. If you'd rather trade a little speed for fewer awkward drops, three lines is the safer setting. Our power dialer vs predictive dialer guide explains where each pacing mode fits.
What you actually pay
GrowOutly publishes its prices: $119 a month for one user, $319 for three users and $819 for up to seven, each with a set allowance of minutes, texts, emails and numbers. Compliance checks, the CRM and lead scraping are included. The trade-off is the minute allowance. A rep who dials every hour of every day can outgrow 300 minutes quickly, and overage is billed at the plan rate.
Kixie doesn't publish prices, so you'll need a sales call to compare like for like. Every Kixie plan includes unlimited US and Canada minutes, which is a genuine advantage for heavy dialers. Several things GrowOutly bundles are paid add-ons at Kixie: DNC checking, ConnectionBoost local presence and Conversation Intelligence. When you get a Kixie quote, ask for those line items and for the CRM you'll need alongside it, then compare the total.
Compliance and caller reputation
GrowOutly checks every outbound call and text against the National DNC Registry, state DNC lists and a database of known TCPA litigators before it connects, on every plan. See how the DNC and litigator checks work.
Kixie sells DNC checking as a compliance add-on that covers the National DNC Registry and your internal suppression lists. Its pages don't mention state lists or litigator screening. Kixie does have two real strengths here. ConnectionBoost monitors numbers for spam labels and swaps out flagged ones automatically. Kixie also automatically disables call recording in regions that require two-party consent, which is useful if your team calls into those states.
Whichever tool you choose, consent and calling rules still apply to you. Our TCPA compliance guide covers what that means in 2026.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Kixie publish its prices?
- Not on its own site as of November 2026. Kixie's pricing page lists three plans and what each includes but no dollar amounts, so you need a quote. Third-party estimates vary widely, which is why we don't repeat them here.
- Does Kixie come with a CRM?
- No. Kixie is built to sit on top of a CRM you already use, with two-way sync for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, HighLevel and others. GrowOutly includes its own CRM on every plan.
- Kixie dials four lines; why does GrowOutly stop at three?
- More lines means more moments where two people answer at once and one of them hears silence or a hang-up. We cap rounds at three and screen each round against DNC lists and an attempt limit first. Kixie's four-line mode suits teams that want maximum throughput and manage that trade-off themselves.
