Calling platform or outbound workspace
JustCall describes itself as one platform for every call, text and follow-up, aimed at sales and support teams at companies with 10 to 500 employees. It is strongest at communication: calls, SMS, WhatsApp and RCS, with AI on top and integrations with the CRM you already use.
GrowOutly is narrower and deeper on outbound. The power dialer, parallel dialer, built-in CRM, lead scraping, registry checks and email sequences sit in one workspace. If your team has a CRM and mainly needs better phones and texting, JustCall's design fits. If you're building your outbound process from scratch, GrowOutly covers more of it.
Dialing tiers
JustCall gates its dialers by plan. The Team plan has calling but no Sales Dialer. Pro adds the power dialer. Predictive and dynamic dialing across up to 10 lines belong to SalesPro, a separate product sold by quote, which throttles itself to stay under the 3% abandonment limit. Lower plans can trial a few predictive campaigns.
Every GrowOutly plan includes both the power dialer and a parallel dialer capped at three lines. That's fewer lines than JustCall's top tier, by design. GrowOutly rings extra lines only for a rep who is already on the call, so it never dials ahead of someone who is busy. If your team will grow into high-volume predictive dialing with a supervisor managing pacing, JustCall gives you that path.
Texting and follow-up
This is JustCall's home ground. Each user gets 500 to 1,000 SMS segments depending on plan, with bulk sends of up to 5,000 per send on higher plans, multi-step SMS drips that stop when a contact replies, and WhatsApp and RCS inboxes.
GrowOutly includes two-way SMS on every plan, and texts can fire automatically from a call outcome. Its edge is email. Pro and above include multi-step email sequences, while JustCall sends single follow-up emails from dialer outcomes. Teams that follow up mainly by text will prefer JustCall. Teams that mix calls, texts and email sequences will find more of it built into GrowOutly. Our guide to choosing between text and email explains when each channel works best.
Compliance and consent
JustCall has two real strengths. It can prompt for consent or skip recording on calls into all-party consent states, on Pro and above. It also files STIR/SHAKEN automatically and offers branded caller ID across the three major US carriers. Its do-not-call tools are lists you maintain: do-not-dial, do-not-message and bulk uploads. Its marketing mentions built-in DNC scrubbing, but its help center doesn't describe registry or litigator checks.
GrowOutly checks national DNC, state DNC and known TCPA litigators before every call and text. Ask any vendor, us included, to show the check running on a real number during the demo.
